Title Packaging Production Designer – Global Creative Employment Details Initial term through August, with possibility of extension up to a maximum of 2 years in 6‑month increments. About the Role Packaging Designer – 5+ years of experience required. Responsibilities Responsible for concepting, designing, and developing packaging and component solutions for a luxury beauty brand, taking concepts from sketches and material selections through to production‑ready artwork. Lead creative collaboration with Marketing, Product Development, and cross‑functional teams to ensure designs are executable and aligned with brand needs. Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Create production‑ready artwork for primary and secondary packaging in alignment with established brand packaging characteristics. Manage all creative packaging assets and communications, organize and maintain design libraries, and establish appropriate naming conventions for files, fonts, icons, images, templates, and tutorials. Stay up to date on luxury beauty industry trends by conducting research and competitive analysis, and contribute to the development of fresh content ideas and strategic initiatives that support innovation and creative excellence. Work closely with vendors and production partners to refine designs and ensure luxury quality and feasibility. Report to the Director, Packaging. Qualifications Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience; beauty or luxury industry experience preferred. 3+ years of experience as a packaging designer with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in Rhino, SolidWorks, and Cinema 4D; hands‑on 3D design and visualization experience. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and familiarity with Figma and Adobe Illustrator (AI) tools. Knowledge of Mac and PC compatibility troubleshooting, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Strong organizational skills, ability to work within established brand guidelines, and experience in market research and product placement advertising. Experience in web development, digital marketing, and project management tools is a plus. Preferred Experience Experience in the beauty industry (highly preferred). Experience with consumer products such as toys, food, or beverage. Interview Process One‑round interview and a subsequent assessment that includes a presentation or portfolio walk‑through.
