• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Officer to join our team, operating Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) Tugs.
• minimum of 24 months rank exp on ASD tug.

• Execute safe and efficient navigational watchkeeping duties, adhering to international regulations and company policies.
• Assist the Master in all maneuvering operations, including ship assist, berthing, unberthing, and towing operations, utilizing the unique capabilities of ASD tugs.
• Supervise, train, and manage the deck crew, ensuring they perform their duties safely and efficiently, including line handling, equipment maintenance, and general vessel upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with all international and national maritime regulations (STCW, ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL) and company safety management systems.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, drills, and emergency preparedness exercises, ensuring the crew is proficient in responding to various scenarios.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of deck machinery, towing gear, safety equipment, and general vessel fabric, reporting any defects to the Master.
• Manage and maintain accurate vessel logbooks, records, and documentation as required by regulations and company procedures.
• Implement and enforce environmental protection measures, ensuring compliance with anti-pollution regulations.
• Act as the designated Safety Officer on board, promoting a strong safety culture and investigating any incidents or near misses.
• Assist with administrative tasks and communications as directed by the Master.
