Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer direct patient care within approved scope and facility protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient conditions, assess symptoms, and document findings accurately in EPIC charting system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Respond to clinical emergencies and maintain readiness for on-call responsibilities.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and hospital policies, including BLS and ACLS as preferred.
  
  
• 
  Maintain professional conduct and uphold safety standards during hurricane and emergency response periods.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license with active status.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in medical-surgical or general surgery units.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate flexibility to work 7p-7a shifts, including holidays and call rotation.
  
  
• 
  Be able to float within scope as needed and work a block schedule at the discretion of management.
  
  
• 
  Show proficiency in charting with EPIC and adherence to compliance requirements.
  
  
• 
  Certified in BLS; ACLS preferred, not mandatory.
