Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker license through LARA.
• Michigan Department of Education (MDE) school approval.
• Experience working with elementary-age students and special education populations preferred.
• Familiarity with restorative practices and small group interventions is a plus.
• Full-time availability during school hours (8:35am–3:30pm).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a caseload of approximately 15 special education students in a school building of 195 total students (grades 4–5).
• Provide both special education and general education social work services.
• Run small intervention groups to assist at-risk students.
• Implement restorative practices when and where needed.
• Collaborate with educators and families to promote positive student outcomes.
