JOB FAMILY SUMMARY PURPOSE:

Under the general supervision of the Manager – Cash Management, supports daily treasury operations by preparing cash position reports, short-term cash forecasts, and liquidity analyses; executes and monitors banking transactions; prepares internal reporting to support funding, investing, and working capital decisions; and supports treasury-related regulatory reporting/filings and information requests by compiling and validating required data and documentation. Reviews bank account analyses and fees, maintains banking relationships, and supports evaluation of bank services and creditworthiness.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

0-5 years of experience preferred cash management, treasury operations, corporate finance, banking, or a related area.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge of treasury and cash management concepts, including cash positioning, forecasting, liquidity management, and short-term investing/borrowing. 2. Ability to analyze and reconcile bank activity, interpret account analyses, and identify drivers of variances and exceptions. 3. Ability to prepare clear cash reporting and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and banking partners. 4. Working knowledge of bank products and services (e.g., depository services, ACH, wires, positive pay, lockbox) and related controls. 5. Knowledge of payment processing workflows and internal controls, including segregation of duties and approval matrices. 6. Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and ability to coordinate across teams to resolve exceptions. 7. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation) and ability to build/maintain cash forecast and reporting models. 8. Experience or aptitude working with ERP and treasury/banking platforms (e.g., SAP/Oracle, Kyriba, bank portals) and handling file transmissions securely. 9. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet daily cutoffs, and maintain accuracy in a time-sensitive environment. 10. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documenting procedures and explaining analysis. 11. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and escalate issues appropriately. 12. Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with policies, internal controls, and banking security requirements. 13. Effective at planning and prioritization; proactive, forward-looking approach to cash needs and risk identification. 14. Good critical thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to investigate root causes and recommend process improvements. 15. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with management, fellow employees, auditors, and external banking contacts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Prepare daily cash position reporting by bank account and entity; monitor balances, inflows/outflows, and availability to meet obligations. 2. Develop and maintain short-term cash forecasts; analyze variances to improve forecast accuracy and support liquidity planning. 3. Initiate and/or review wire transfers and other bank transactions in accordance with approval requirements; support fraud prevention controls (e.g., positive pay, callbacks) and resolve exceptions. 4. Support short-term borrowing and/or investment activity by preparing analyses, monitoring limits/covenants as assigned, and coordinating required documentation. 5. Prepare and review treasury-related analyses, including cash flow trends, working capital metrics, and bank fee/earnings credit analysis. 6. Support month-end close activities, including treasury-related journal entries, bank reconciliations, account tie-outs, and documentation in accordance with deadlines. 7. Assist in executing and administering letters of credit, including tracking usage, renewals, fees, and required reporting. 8. Prepare, analyze, and review banking reports (e.g., account analyses, statements) and periodic cash reporting packages for management. 9. Monitor key liquidity and debt-related metrics as assigned; support covenant/compliance tracking and required documentation. 10. Build and maintain cash forecast, liquidity, and fee analysis models; enhance automation and reporting. 11. Support preparation of treasury-related schedules and documentation for audits, lenders, and internal/external reporting requirements. 12. Support preparation and submission of regulatory applications/filings and related exhibits by compiling financial inputs, validating source data, and coordinating internal reviews to meet filing deadlines. 13. Prepare and maintain treasury-related regulatory supporting schedules and workpapers (e.g., cash/working capital analyses, debt and interest schedules, bank fee/earnings credit analyses, restricted cash); ensure tie-outs to the general ledger, bank statements, and approved models. 14. Assist in developing testimony/hearing support materials by preparing tables, schedules, and narrative support for review by subject matter experts; verify calculations, citations, and cross-references for consistency across testimony, exhibits, and workpapers. 15. Respond to information requests from regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders by retrieving documentation, reconciling variances, and maintaining a clear audit trail of assumptions, sources, and approvals. 16. Draft and maintain treasury procedures, controls documentation, and recurring reports to support consistent execution and compliance. 17. Read and interpret banking documentation (e.g., account agreements, service schedules, and credit facility terms) and ensure requirements are reflected in processes. 18. Use projected cash flow and market information to support short-term investing/borrowing recommendations within approved guidelines. 19. Respond to internal and external requests for information (RFIs) related to cash activity, banking services, and treasury reporting. 20. Maintain positive banking and other financial institution relationships; coordinate issue resolution and support periodic service reviews. 21. Develop, monitor, and analyze bank fees and account analysis statements; recommend opportunities to improve service, reduce cost, or enhance controls. 22. Support Accounts Payable support payment runs cash funding, troubleshoot exceptions, and ensure timely, accurate cash disbursements and deposits. 23. Assist with payment exception resolution (returns, rejects, stop pays, voids/reissues) and support disbursement controls such as positive pay, payee validation, and bank portal user administration as assigned. 24. Coordinate with Accounts Receivable to support daily deposit and lockbox reconciliation; review bank activity against AR posting/cash application and research variances or missing items. 25. Assist with investigation and resolution of unapplied cash, short pays/overpays, and returned items; coordinate with AR/Customer Service/Collections to clear exceptions and improve cash application timeliness. 26. Assist with covenant compliance tracking and reporting as assigned; maintain debt-related documentation and files in accordance with recordkeeping requirements. 27. Assist in developing and maintaining treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls; identify and implement process improvements. 28. Keep abreast of changes in banking practices, payment regulations (e.g., NACHA), fraud/security controls, and other relevant industry developments. 29.
