CNA LTCTryfacta is seeking a CNA LTC for our client in Newark, NY 14513. This is a 13-week contract assignment. Position Title: CNA LTC Location: Newark, NY 14513 Duration: 13 weeks Work Schedule: Mid 5x8-Hour (14:00 - 22:00) Pay rate: $28hr/ $29 /hr. for travelersResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Assist residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, transfers, turning, and repositioning.Perform bed-making, skin and decubitus care, catheter care, and other activities of daily living.Obtain and document vital signs, pulse oximetry, fluid and calorie intake, urine output, and drain output.Safely operate and assist residents with Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, transfer belts, and sliding boards.Provide appropriate care while following isolation precautions, PPE procedures, NPO orders, and fluid restrictions.Perform passive range-of-motion exercises and use proper body mechanics during all resident care and transfers.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.Clean and maintain patient-care equipment according to facility procedures.Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns or changes to the appropriate nursing staff.Float to other units or areas as needed by the facility.Participate in daytime orientation during the first week of the assignment.Provide weekend coverage every other weekend as scheduled.To be considered for this position, you should have:Current CNA certification in good standing.At least 1 year of CNA experience, preferably in a long-term-care setting.Current BLS certification.Ability to safely assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and mobility equipment.Knowledge of basic infection-control, isolation, and PPE procedures.Ability to accurately obtain and document vital signs and other resident-care measurements.Strong communication, observation, teamwork, and resident-care skills.Ability to follow care plans, facility policies, safety procedures, and instructions from nursing staff.Willingness to float to other areas as needed and work every other weekend.First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.Tryfacta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
