Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced  Stick Welder to join our HVAC and mechanical construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding HVAC piping, supports, and structural components in commercial or industrial environments. We are looking for a dependable team player who takes pride in producing quality work while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick Welding (SMAW) on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Fabricate, fit, and weld piping, supports, and structural components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding and installation.
• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Work closely with HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and project teams.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Assist with installation and modification of HVAC systems as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of stick welding experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical construction, or industrial projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• AWS certifications are a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
