Market Manager – Job Description The Market Manager is responsible for the operation and results of multiple locations within a designated area. Responsibilities include operational oversight, internal and external development, business relationships, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The manager provides leadership and mentoring to direct reports, leading the team effectively and efficiently. Key Job Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan for all locations. Manage activities of all locations within the designated market through active coordination with General Managers and monitor capture rates. Hold all staff accountable for shop performance by ensuring employees understand the company mission, follow SOPs, and recognize performance. Act as conduit for load leveling by holding daily calls. Recruit, interview, train new hires. Coach staff and resolve customer concerns as required. Seek opportunities for continuous education and development. Participate in external marketing and team building activities. Promote safe, clean working conditions; review audits and safety records. Ensure use of personal protective equipment and document managers who do not enforce safety. Work with corporate staff to achieve external growth of the market; internal reporting and communications to meet or exceed business plan objectives. Review location performance against goals with managers, provide coaching to improve performance. Conduct operations reviews and audits monthly. Act as liaison with area insurance contacts and other referral points; ensure timely response to clients. Education and/or Experience Required Minimum of five years collision repair industry experience. Minimum of three years management experience. ICAR Platinum certification preferred. Estimating license if applicable in the state. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to read and understand financial statements. Extensive estimating experience.
