Description

• Assess and evaluate patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments to develop personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Contribute to care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited educational institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly desired
