About the Position Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional guitar instructor to teach part‑time with our Wellesley, MA Music School, At Your Door Music. This teaching position is in‑person and held in students’ homes. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours, but both students and staff appreciate consistency; preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. The instructor must have reliable transportation to conduct lessons in family residences. Qualifications Strong music background evidenced by a degree in performance or equivalent performing experience Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians Robust appreciation for punctuality and reliability Ability to pass a routine background check Responsibilities Teach 60‑minute one‑on‑one guitar lessons in students’ homes for children ages six and up, including adult learners Provide instruction across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels Maintain accurate lesson records and communicate with school staff as needed Adhere to safety and transportation expectations during visits Pay and Benefits Instructor pay is $36–$40 per hour.
