About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at SAND HILL DENTAL LLC as a Cross Trained Dental Assistant! In this exciting role, you will support our dental professionals in providing exceptional patient care while gaining versatile skills in various dental procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for patient appointments.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Schedule appointments efficiently and excellent phone skills. 
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Knowledge of front desk resposnisbilite and willing to learn protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in a dental office setting 2+ years.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and be utilized where needed.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Current CPR certification is a must, or willing to get certified.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies, knowldege with Dentrix.
