Our eight manufacturing complexes in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, an unparalleled storage, transportation and distribution network in North America, and logistics capabilities enabling a global reach underpin our strategy to leverage our unique capabilities to accelerate the world’s transition to clean energy.Function: Finance & AccountingJob Summary:The Director of FP&A serves as a trusted financial partner to the organization, as a direct report to the Vice President of Corporate Finance & Strategy, with visibility to the CFO and functional executive leadership, focused on understanding and analyzing financial and operational performance to drive actions and decisions in margin expansion and growth aligned with CF's strategic vision.Job Description:ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning processes, data, reporting and presentationsPrepare and lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews for executive leadershipAnalyze financial and operational results against plans, forecasts, and external expectationsPartner with Accounting team in variance analysis and formulation of clear insights of financial resultsSynthesize complex data and lead high-impact financial analysis to identify performance risks & opportunities to formulate recommendations and inform critical decisions for senior leadershipDevelop financial models supporting earnings forecasts, capital allocation decisions, scenario planning, and strategic initiativesPartner with business units and functional leaders to evaluate performance drivers and identify opportunities for growth and margin expansionPartner with Commercial (Sales / Supply Chain) teams to understand market drivers, pricing, cost; challenge inputs as appropriate with fact-based analysis to develop insights and drive actions and decisionsSupport capital planning processes, prioritization of capital investment options specifically with Manufacturing and Engineering teams, including investment analysis as requiredDrive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, financial reporting, and analytical capabilitiesIdentify and implement improvement opportunities, tools, best practices and processes to improve forecast accuracy and insight, reduce lead-time and enhance analytical depth in existing processesLead and develop the corporate FP&A team, setting the vision for a high-value, high-performance team, expanding capabilities via stretch assignments and mentorshipQualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance or Business-segment Finance or a related disciplineStrong understanding of public company financials and reporting, capital markets, valuation methodologies, and financial modelingExperience presenting complex financial information to executive leadership and external stakeholdersExceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems (Oracle and SAP)Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, publicly traded company environmentPreferredMBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent advanced credentialProficiency in Oracle and SAPExperience in manufacturing, industrial, consumer products, or other industrial or chemical sector segments.Prior public company experienceExperience supporting earnings calls, investor conferences, and Board presentationsEstimated base pay for the position is typically between: $143,500 - $201,900.The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range. ​In addition to base pay, an incentive program is available to all full-time employees, and a comprehensive benefits package including two medical plan options, a health savings plan with a company contribution and a match, dental and vision benefits, a well-being incentive program, 401(k) Plan which provides a potential of receiving between 10% and 13% of employer’s contribution, life and disability insurance, paid time off programs and much more!
