ICU Registered Nurse

ICU Registered Nurse needed for night shifts. Two years of experience in an ICU setting is required, although first-time travelers will be considered. The RN will work 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week, from 19:30 to 08:00. Every other weekend coverage is required. Holidays may also be required as scheduled. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the specialty and lower acuity as needed. The unit typically manages an average daily census of 26 patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Preferred skills include experience in a trauma Level II environment. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative team environment is essential. This position includes performing specialized tasks such as tidal cardiac drips and management of traumatic brain injury patients. A CPI certification is mandatory for compliance. Additional certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are also required. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong critical thinking capabilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Candidates should be willing to adhere to facility policies and governance at all times.
