Central Kitchen Maintenance Technician

Job Title

Performs specialized technical maintenance and repair work on food production equipment, boilers, and utility systems located within the Central Kitchen. Ensures safe and efficient operation of all mechanical and steam systems that support food production and packaging. Maintains preventive maintenance programs, performs boiler water testing, and ensures compliance with state and local safety regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Two years of experience in mechanical or commercial kitchen maintenance preferred. Boiler experience preferred. Additional education may substitute for some experience. License and Certificates Maintain valid California Health (ServSafe) certificate (every five years). Completion of boiler operation and maintenance training within 90 days of hire. (Provided as part of the Agency's training.)
