Physician - Family Medicine

The Professional Staff provides full scope of primary care services including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to The Brooklyn Hospital Center outpatients. Complies with, all hospital policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations. Examines patients, elicits and records medical information, orders or executes various tests. Serves as the clinical leader of the interdisciplinary team to achieve improve health outcomes for patients and their families. Utilizes evidence-based diagnosis and treatment guidelines to provide the highest quality of care to patients of The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
• Minimum of two (2) years of post-residency medical/clinical experience or recent graduate from ACGME certified Family Medicine program.
• New York State Department of Health Certificate of Qualification
• New York State Licensed Physician
• Certification in Family Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)/American Board of Medical Certificates (ABMS)or Board Eligible
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Computer application skills - ALLSCRIPTS and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
