Supervisor Compounding

Position Summary The production / compounding supervisor is responsible for supervising production associates, developing team members, coaching, motivating, and training associates to achieve high performance levels in a manufacturing environment. The role ensures safety, housekeeping, production, and quality goals are met. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Supervise production associates and coach, motivate, and train associates to high performance levels in a manufacturing environment. Assist the Manager in reviewing shift operations and making recommendations regarding changes in operations, staffing, equipment, and procedures. Recruit, train, and develop personnel; enforce disciplinary actions and terminations while ensuring safety and quality standards. Maintain a safety‑first culture by implementing and enforcing safety and company policies and procedures. Lead lean processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues that occur on shift, performing frequent quality checks. Maintain a supportive and productive work atmosphere through professional conduct and effective communication with internal and external customers, vendors, coworkers, subordinates, and other supervisors. Review accurate time records for team members on shift. Attend all production‑related meetings, safety meetings, and conduct pre‑shift meetings. Complete incident reports, including near‑miss reports, in a timely manner. Show flexibility to work additional hours as needed to support production demand. Cross‑train in other functional areas to support the manufacturing facility for special projects and assignments. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; specialized or vocational courses acceptable. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Two or more years of blending chemicals experience. Microsoft Office computer skills. Knowledge and experience with SAP.
