Job Details Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care (LTC) Location: Albuquerque, NM 87112 (Albuquerque LPN jobs / New Mexico nursing jobs) Employment Type: Travel Contract (Local Only) Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC, skilled nursing) Start Date: March 16, 2026 End Date: May 6, 2026 Contract Duration: 7 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM (12-hour day shifts) Positions Available: 1 Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,000 - $1,050 Work Type: On-site (Local LPN opportunity in Albuquerque) Job Requirements / Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New Mexico (required) No minimum years of LPN experience required; experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred but not required Experience with medication administration, resident assessments, ADLs, and skilled nursing documentation Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and commit to the full contract duration Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills; ability to collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and facility staff Must reside locally in the Albuquerque area (LOCAL ONLY) - ideal for Albuquerque LPN candidates Responsibilities Provide direct patient and resident care following individualized care plans and facility policies Safely administer medications and treatments within LPN scope of practice Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition to the healthcare team (skilled nursing documentation) Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring comfort, dignity, and a high quality of life Support resident assessments, care plan execution, and interdisciplinary communication Collaborate closely with nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, and facility staff to deliver resident-centered care Communicate compassionately with residents and families about care, progress, and daily needs Why Albuquerque?
