Senior Tax Analyst supporting DePuy Synthes' U.S. and global tax strategy, with focus on tax planning, audit support, and controversy management. The role partners with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to manage tax risk, support business transactions, and ensure tax law compliance in a MedTech environment.
Responsibilities
- Support U.S. federal, state, and local tax planning initiatives including transaction modeling and analysis
- Manage tax audits and disputes by preparing documentation and coordinating responses with stakeholders
- Research tax law changes and assess operational and financial impacts
- Prepare technical tax memoranda and position papers supporting tax strategies
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
- 0–2 years progressive corporate tax or public accounting experience
- Strong U.S. federal income tax knowledge with state/local and international exposure
- Experience supporting tax audits, examinations, or dispute resolution
- Ability to research and interpret complex tax legislation and case law
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills
