The Programmer/Analyst Senior leads software development efforts and drives technical excellence across the team. The Programmer Analyst Senior architects, builds, and delivers modern applications while leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery. Responsibilities include full-stack development, system design, CI/CD pipeline management, code review, mentoring developers, and building scalable, maintainable software solutions that serve the court and its users. Architects, builds, and delivers modern applications while leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery Works independently to develop solutions for complex business and technical problems. Supports deployment of applications into production and maintain after release. Coordinates with other team members to brainstorm and create new processes for the Judicial Branch to use in day-to-day operations. Focuses continually on developing business knowledge and product/feature expertise. Utilizes source control to label, package, and deploy applications utilizing best practices procedures/techniques. Follows industry practices of analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance/production support of custom applications software. Tests developed applications for accuracy, efficiency, and stability. Coordinates with other team members to assist on a variety of other development needs and practices. Mentors and trains less experienced staff members. Assists on customer support issues resolving any application issues and/or errors. The Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County participates in the State Retirement systems ASRS or PSPRS. As such, mandatory membership for all full‑time employees includes payroll deducted contributions consistent with each retirement system’s requirements. The current contribution rate for ASRS is 12.27% and the current contribution rate for PSPRS is 5.84% and up for the defined contribution plan and 8.82% for the defined benefit plan.
