IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst III / Senior (Microsoft Exchange Administration)

As an IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst III / Senior, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing systems that support our enterprise. This position bridges next-generation technologies such as cloud engineering and mobile applications with the proven expertise required to deliver mission-critical IT solutions. Responsibilities Microsoft Exchange Administration: Oversee and optimize hybrid Exchange environments, ensuring seamless mail flow, certificate management, and security compliance. System Performance & Reliability: Deliver and maintain both software and hardware product performance across enterprise applications. Lifecycle Management: Drive products from design completion to production release, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and system-level issues to maintain high availability. Cloud & Mobile Integration: Support next-generation IT solutions that include cloud-based platforms and mobile technologies. Collaboration & Security: Partner with IT and business teams to support secure, integrated, and scalable services across the enterprise. Who we’re looking for Exchange Expertise: Strong background in Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and cloud) administration, PowerShell scripting, and integrations with enterprise-grade security and mail routing tools. Technical Depth: Advanced understanding of IT architecture, system integration, and troubleshooting across multiple domains. Problem Solver: Ability to respond quickly and effectively to complex issues in mission-critical environments. Collaborator: Skilled communicator who can work across IT and business functions to deliver practical solutions. Forward-Thinking Professional: Comfortable working with both legacy systems and emerging technologies, ensuring APS remains secure, efficient, and future-ready. Qualifications IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst III: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field plus five (5) years of prior relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Requires strong technical knowledge within a job area and basic knowledge across related technical areas. Senior IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field plus seven (7) years of prior relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Requires advanced in-depth technical knowledge within a job area and working knowledge of other technical areas. Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications Knowledge of multiple programming languages, database management systems, and development platforms. Ability to understand and explain highly technical issues and solutions in non-technical terms; effective collaboration across teams; prioritization across multiple work streams; solving advanced complex problems in own area.
