Job Description

Person will be expected to:

• Implement acquired controllers and Aps
• Interested in leveraging for mapping/wayfinding
• Authenticate via ISE based portal
• Will soon be deploying RFID across wireless
• All Cisco hardware
• Additional Info. They just upgraded controllers and went down to two for their campuses, down from I believe 10 or so.
• They added 200 new AP's and will reuse the rest. I believe they have more than 1,000 now.
• Wireless network being deployed was not designed to support the load this application will require

Qualifications

• 5 years, linux/kernel driver development
• 5 years, embedded software/firmware development
• Expert in C
• Strong 802.11 experience, MAC, PHY, QoS
• Knowledge of networking layers - ethernet, IP, IPv6
• Experience debugging hardware/firmware - JTAG, etc

Preferred experience:

• DFS, radar detection, spectral scan, DFS certification
• ath9k/ath10k driver
• 802.11 MAC, PHY software/firmware/driver development
• hardware/firmware bring-up
• Qualcomm Atheros driver/firmware
• 802.11s, QoS, rate control, traffic fairness
