- Specialty Backup Available: Other OB/GYNs, OB residents
- Support Staff Available: Residents, nursing staff
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.)
- High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Disease, etc.)
- FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation
- Routine Delivery - Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
- Complicated Delivery - C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
- VBAC's
- Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
- Operative/Major Gynecology - Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA's, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA's, Chromal Tubation
- Surgical Gynecology - Open
- Office/Minor Gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
- Board: Board Certified (OB/GYN)
- Licenses: Active Ohio Medical License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Provide OB hospitalist coverage for Labor and Delivery.
- Manage low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients.
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs.
- Collaborate with OB residents and midwives in a teaching setting.
- Perform gynecological procedures including operative and office-based procedures.
