Role Description The Product Manager at SPOT will own the end-to-end lifecycle of key product features, from discovery and definition through launch and iteration. This full-time, hybrid role is based in New York, NY, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day, the Product Manager will gather and prioritize requirements, maintain a clear product roadmap, and collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, and operations teams to deliver high-impact updates for users and partners. The role includes analyzing user behavior and performance metrics, leading experiments, and translating insights into actionable improvements. The Product Manager will also communicate product decisions to stakeholders, coordinate release plans, and ensure the product experience aligns with SPOT’s business goals and customer needs. Qualifications Experience with product discovery and roadmap management, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment. Skills in data-informed decision-making, such as analyzing product metrics, conducting experiments, and using insights to refine features. Background in cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams. Knowledge of mobile app or consumer-facing digital products, ideally in marketplaces, mobility, or on-demand services. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex product decisions to technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, stay organized, and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Design) or equivalent practical experience. Masters Degrees and higher will be reviewed first. Experience with user research, customer interviews, and usability testing is a plus. Interest in urban mobility, transportation, or location-based services and a desire to improve everyday experiences for users. Compensation This is a Cash + Equity role based on the current PMV.
