HR Administrator

Start your new career as an HR Administrator with MAU in Abbeville, SC. As an HR Administrator, you will support day-to-day human resources operations, including employee records, onboarding, recruiting, payroll and timekeeping processes, benefits administration, and HR compliance. What We Offer:
- Starting pay of $18 per hour
- 1st shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Temp-to-hire opportunity
- Eligible for permanent hire after 520 hours , at the client's discretion
- Previous experience in Human Resources, HR administration, recruiting, payroll, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to learn and effectively use HRIS and other HR-related systems
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- 1–2+ years of HR or administrative experience preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS, timekeeping, payroll, and benefits systems preferred
- Knowledge of basic employment practices and HR compliance preferred
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Support daily HR administration and employee-related processes
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files
- Assist with new hire onboarding, orientations, and required documentation
- Support recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
- Assist employees with general HR questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and payroll
- Maintain and update employee information in HR systems
- Assist with timekeeping, attendance, and payroll-related processes
- Track employee attendance, leave, and other personnel information
- Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment
- Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation as needed
- Support employee relations activities and escalate concerns to appropriate HR leadership
- Assist with performance management, disciplinary documentation, and other employee processes
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
- Support HR projects, audits, training initiatives, and other administrative needs
