Community Manager - LIHTC

This role is ideal for an experienced affordable housing professional who enjoys variety and can confidently manage compliance, resident relations, and day-to-day operations in a fast-moving environment. You'll oversee a 100+ unit campus spanning multiple buildings and program types including LIHTC and Massachusetts state programs, with a District Manager who is closely involved onsite and a new Resident Occupancy Specialist being added to strengthen the office team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for a 100+ unit, multi-building affordable housing campus
• Manage LIHTC compliance including certifications, recertifications, and file readiness for audits
• Support leasing, resident relations, and collections while maintaining strong professional boundaries
• Review, approve, and help train a Resident Occupancy Specialist as the team expands
• Partner with the District Manager to keep operations organized, compliant, and resident-focused

Qualifications

• 3+ years of affordable housing property management experience (LIHTC required)
• Hands-on experience completing LIHTC certifications and annual recertifications
• COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) strongly xhyhwjd preferred
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgment calls in a high-volume environment
• Comfort working with a diverse resident population, including households supported by state programs
