Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Maintenance TechnicianMaintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues and fabricate parts as neededComplete preventive maintenance on plant equipment, tools, and machineryOrder parts and supplies as necessary to support maintenance activitiesWork independently to maintain facility and production equipmentAssist with the installation and implementation of new equipmentSupport training of machine attendants to ensure smooth and efficient equipment operationActively participate in continuous improvement initiativesMaintenance Technician Requirements:Associate degree preferred in Electronic Technology, Automated Manufacturing, or Electro-Mechanical Systems3-5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment or equivalent military-related experienceValid driver's licenseForklift certificationStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsWillingness and ability to work overtime as neededFlexibility to train on other shifts and provide coverage for maintenance technicians at other facilitiesFormal training or demonstrated proficiency in Basic electricity, Electricity for machine repair, Basic hydraulics, Industrial mechanic fundamentals, Industrial machine repair (basic), PLCsSurface mount equipment experience is a plusBenefits:Paid time off (PTO)11 paid holidaysMedical insuranceDental insuranceLife insuranceShort-term disabilityLong-term disabilityTuition reimbursementIND022 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
