Title: General Ledger Accountant

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 + Bonus

Location: Northern VA

Key Responsibilities:

Manage month-end and year-end close across multiple client accounts
Prepare balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
Produce financial statements (P&L, balance sheet)
Support audit processes (internal, external, regulatory)
Ensure compliance with GAAP and FAR regulations
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
Work directly with clients in a consulting / outsourced accounting model

Qualifications:

5+ years of general ledger / full-cycle accounting experience
Experience in a government contracting (GovCon) environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP and FAR regulations
Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar GovCon systems (Unanet, QuickBooks, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
S. Citizenship required due to government contracting requirements
Preferred (Nice-to-Have): Experience working in an outsourced accounting or multi-client environment
