Position Overview:

This role involves delivering direct medical care to employees and their family members aged 2 and older.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide episodic, preventive, and acute healthcare services to patients.

• In certain health centers, offer occupational health services, including post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return-to-work evaluations, and guidance on Workers' Compensation.

• Conduct medical histories and physical examinations, prescribing medications and treatments based on established best practices.

• Collaborate with patients to develop treatment plans and provide education on medical issues as necessary.

• Facilitate referrals to appropriate medical resources or specialists, both internally and externally.

• Assess the effectiveness of medical care and track patient progress.

• Contribute to the formulation of annual goals and objectives for the health center.

• Maintain medical records, potentially utilizing Electronic Medical Record software in some health centers.

• May design and implement health programs as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience post-residency.

• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings (occupational healthcare experience may be applicable in some clinics).

• Valid medical license to practice in the state where the position is located.

• Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS, or Board Eligible in these areas. If Board Eligible, certification exam must be taken within twelve months of hire.

• Current state and federal DEA certification is required.

• Certification in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers from AHA or ARC is mandatory; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required depending on the contract scope.

• Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification may be necessary for certain roles.

• Proficiency in internet software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records.

• Understanding of workplace health and safety principles and OSHA regulations.
