Hiring Range: $24.56 - $39.48

The Loan Production Specialist II supports the end-to-end process of business and commercial loan production, from due diligence through post-closing administration. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across loan documentation, funding, and system workflows. Responsibilities and required expertise increase with grade level, reflecting greater proficiency, leadership, and subject-matter expertise

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence for business and commercial loan requests.

• Fulfill testing and QA activities pertaining to manual rate changes, insurance administration and Participation transaction flows.

• Track, monitor, and escalate exceptions pertaining to the commercial loan administrative programs.

• Assist with project, audit, and research related projects pertaining to the Commercial loans.

• Perform control testing.

Specialized Focus Areas

• Perform document quality assurance prior to loan boarding.

• Handle complex Participation and Syndication loan originations, ensuring processing and documentation are completed timely and accurately.

• Provide Commercial and Business Banking loan documentation expertise for QA activities and/or LaserPro documentation production.

Critical Processing Validations

• Ensure insurance requirements and coverage are appropriately met for applicable collateral or conditions (e.g., dwelling, flood, all-asset coverage).

• Ensure collateral records and tracking are accurately documented.

• Ensure loan terms and conditions are satisfied prior to disbursement.

• Serve as a cross-trained team member supporting collaborative workflow and production management.

• Maintain strong quality control and regulatory adherence.

  Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

• 2–8+ years of experience in loan production, commercial lending, or financial services, commensurate with grade level.

• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation, funding procedures, and system workflows (e.g., nCino, core banking systems, LaserPro).

• Proficiency in loan origination platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
