This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a Level III trauma center. The role requires flexibility in managing a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple units including ICU, PCU, and Medical-Surgical units, while utilizing advanced clinical skills. Job Details Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Education Requirements: Current RN license in the state of Washington. 2 years of ICU nursing experience required. Location Requirements: Must be currently licensed to practice in Washington. Years of Experience: 2 years of ICU experience. Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The ICU nurse will transport patients throughout the entire hospital and support various inpatient units. Patient ratios vary from 1:2 in ICU to 1:5 in Medical-Surgical units based on acuity. The nurse must have proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, invasive line management, and ICU-specific procedures. Support staff includes Techs, hospitalists, and intensivists available 24/7. EMR system: EPIC. Equipment includes IV pumps (Alaris) and Pyxis for medication dispensing. Orientation includes two days of hospital training and one-day unit-specific onboarding. Supports within scope of practice and ability to float for partial shifts as needed. This position starts on 10/05/2026 and ends on 01/09/2027.
