Join our team of dedicated and engaged colleagues, and benefit from specialized training and support, employee referral program, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement.Responsibilities:Use of transfer assistive devices, including but not limited to Hoyer lifts, sit to stand, gait belts and slide boardAssisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and walkingEvaluate changes in client's health, conferring with other healthcare team members as neededMaintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeepingUse and cleaning of devices such as catheters, colostomy bags and oxygen suppliesAssess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to supervisorDevelop and implement meaningful life enrichment activitiesFollowing schedule, assisting residents with repositioningTransport client to doctors' appointments or shoppingComplete all required documents and chartingPlan, shop for and prepare nutritious mealsProvide companionship for the clientFollow all Homestead policies and proceduresRequirements:Minimum 2 years of caregiving experienceExperience passing medicationsAble to pass a criminal background checkValid Driver License/InsuranceHigh school diploma or GEDReliable transportationTravel Max of 25milesWeekend AvailabilityBenefits:PAID TIME OFFROOM FOR GROWTHPaid training and orientationEmployee recognition eventsMedical, dental and vision for full time employeesDaily Pay!
