Physician, Neuropalliative (Berkeley/Castro Valley, CA)

Neurologist, Neuro-Palliative Location: Berkeley, Castro Valley, CA. Overview Full‑time position (0.8‑1.0FTE) in a collaborative multi‑specialty group practicing evidence‑based medicine. The clinician will provide general neurology care and develop a neuro‑palliative practice within a large multidisciplinary department. The role is primarily ambulatory with optional hospital consultation. Responsibilities Provide general neurology clinic care (1–3 days per week, mainly at our Berkeley specialty hub). Develop and deliver neuro‑palliative services. Participate in telephonic group call shared among 8 neurologists. Commit to one on‑site day in Castro Valley and 1 virtual/home‑visit day. Optional hospital consultation at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. Collaboration with 1:1 MA support and RN/LCSW resources for specific services. Qualifications Board‑certified or board‑eligible Neurologist. Active and unrestricted California Medical License. Current DEA license. Previous neurology experience is desirable, but recent graduates are welcome to apply. Interest or training in neuro‑palliative medicine.
