Job Description
Job Title: Laser Operator Location: Tampa / near Oldsmar, FL Schedule: Monday Thursday, 1:00 PM 11:30 PM (Second Shift) Pay: $19.75/hr
Position Summary: The Laser Operator is responsible for the daily operation of laser machines, including handling and moving materials to and from the equipment. This role ensures quality production output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate laser machines to complete production jobs
- Move materials to and from machines as required
- Perform quality checks and troubleshoot quality issues
- Complete inspection reports for all jobs run on equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including proper use of PPE (steel toe safety boots required)

Education and Experience:
- 13 years of manufacturing experience preferred
