Job Title: Director of Regulatory & Quality Location: Schaumburg, IL, USA (Additional Locations: Lisle, IL, USA; Northbrook, IL, USA) Employee Type: Employee Working Hours Per Week: 40 Overview At Residential Home Health and Hospice, we’re looking to add to our extraordinary care team. Our Home Health Director of Regulatory and Quality will partner with field staff and leaders to provide the best support to the patients we serve. Responsibilities Monitor and plan for improvement for value-based purchasing measures including patient satisfaction, rehospitalization, and clinical outcomes per CMS, joint venture, or payor source requirements for contracting. Lead survey-readiness and plans of correction to meet regulatory requirements that uphold accreditation and licensure. Direct and manage team members for survey preparation and quality initiative activities. Respond to exceptions in performance metrics – clinical outcomes, audit results, compliance directives, and state survey results. Serve as a member of the Professional Advisory Committee and/or Governing body. Establish service committees to facilitate and attain the objectives of the service program. Participate as a member of compliance and policy review committees. Assemble patient information and participate in referral source and payer networks. Respond to escalations from CMS or state inquiries about patient care. Qualifications Licensed healthcare professional (Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapist, or Occupational Therapist) with current, active licensure in good standing. Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent professional credential/experience); Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in home health or a comparable healthcare setting. Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience. Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, collaboration within a team, and performance management; ability to develop and support high-performing teams. Strong ability to delegate effectively and empower team members, promoting accountability and a culture of ownership. Proven leadership with the ability to supervise staff and interact tactfully with teams and the community. Strong business and operational management knowledge. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Sound clinical judgment and problem‑solving abilities. Sense of urgency, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Drive for operational efficiency and support for business growth. Accurate documentation and confidentiality maintenance. Professionalism, empathy, tact, organization, and accountability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
