You’ll work full-time (37.5 hours per week), making a real difference as a dedicated 1:1 para across kindergarten through 12th grade. You’ll play a vital role in helping students with diverse needs reach their goals, all while gaining experience that can shape your career in education.

Skills & Experience Desired:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a school support role strongly preferred
• Comfortable and adaptable working with students from kindergarten to high school
• Experience supporting students with varying learning, behavioral, or physical needs
• Patient, compassionate, and able to build rapport quickly
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to follow direction yet work independently when needed
• Up-to-date on required background checks and relevant certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 assistance for a designated student, ensuring safety and engagement throughout the school day
• Support both academic activities and social development, adapting strategies to meet the assigned student’s unique needs
• Assist classroom teachers in modifying materials, implementing accommodations, and fostering an inclusive environment
• Attend meetings or trainings as needed to support student success
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all student interactions
• Document progress and engage in ongoing communication with teachers and staff
