The Legal Runner is a key member of the Administrative and Support Services team at Bighorn Law.  They are entrusted with handling sensitive documents, contributing to day-to-day operations, and representing the firm in a professional manner.

Position Overview:

• Communicating with team members to meet their courier needs

• Organizing time and responsibilities to maximize efficiency

• Ensuring timely pickup/delivery of legal documents from/to the courthouse, clients, and other law firms

• Assists with Office Administration support tasks such as, but not limited to, building office desks, delivering supplies, picking up office supplies, supply room restocking, organization projects, etc

$16 - $17 per hour plus annual bonus

• Filing documents at the courthouse
• Serving documents or subpoenas
• Pick up and delivery of legal documents from various businesses and clients
• Notarizing documents 
• Assist with office tasks such as making copies, organizing and distributing mail, picking up, and stocking office supplies
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to support a safe and welcoming environment
• Occasionally assist with lifting furniture and moving objects in the office

Requirements:

• High school diploma

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver’s license and good standing driving record (Must have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience)

• Professional attire and demeanor

• Punctual and calm under pressure

• Organized and detail-oriented in order to keep track of legal documents

• Must be able to learn the procedures for delivering legal documents

• Must be willing to obtain a notary license (company will sponsor the cost for this)

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Microsoft Word (preferred)

• Law office experience (preferred)

• 1 year of customer service (preferred)

• Spanish-speaking (preferred)
