Instructional Assistant

Trinity Temple Academy is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support the ministry of the school by assisting the Lead Teacher with classroom related duties, and providing general office management, as needed. Responsibilities include assisting in the presentation of instructional materials and academic instruction to individuals or small groups of students, reinforcing instruction as directed by the teacher, assistance with lunch and recess supervision, and office coverage during the day.

Requirements:

• Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
• High School Diploma or Higher
• Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Sterling Volunteers clearance

Qualifications/Assignments:

• Able to multitask, work efficiently, and handle deadlines
• Able to work well with children and manage students in a school setting
• Ability to work with current/perspective families • Excellent written, verbal, organizational and time management skills
• Able to adjust goals, tasks, and priorities and is detail-oriented
• Experienced in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva and Smore
