Introduction:

We areseekinga Senior Buyer to join our team. The Senior Buyeris responsible foroverseeing the procurement of goods and services essential for our companys operations. This role involves developing and managing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that all sourcing activities align with company policies andobjectives.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Execute effective procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing whilemaintainingquality standards
• Purchaseand researchproducts and services according to jobs

• Monitor inventory levels to ensureoptimalstock levels

• Coordinate with the Accounting and Operations team to forecast demand, ensureaccuratecounts of inventory and manage supply chainlogistics
• Reconcile and update systems for inventory and credit cards

• Identify, evaluate, andmaintainrelationships with suppliers that are mutually beneficial for both parties

• Negotiate terms to secure the best possible deals

• Analyze market trends and pricing toidentifycost-saving opportunities

• Follow measures to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality

• Ensure all procurement activitiescomply withcompany policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements

• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management
• Drive process improvements and contribute to purchasing and supply chain initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and vendor relationshipexpertise

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced experience with ERP or MRP systems (e.g. Microsoft Business Central)

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of market research and data analysis

• Acts as a Servant leader
• Highly organizedand deliverswith a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
