This role is based in Shanghai or Singapore.

This role will be part of the Global Treasury Payment Network (GTPN) product team, building out our proprietary infrastructure that enable SME, Enterprise and Platform customers to move funds globally via Airwallex’s webapp and APIs. You will be responsible for leading high-impact projects from ideation to launch.

Responsibilities:

1. Take ownership of Airwallex’s money movement infrastructure roadmap, from strategy, financial partner assessment, solutioning to delivery

2. Communicate product strategy and prioritisation with conviction by deeply understanding our user requirements, target markets, and competitive landscape

3. Manage a high performing team of Product Managers

4. Collaborate closely with financial partnership, engineering, operations and commercial teams to build a scalable and reliable infrastructure that can handle increased usage and complexity while delivering impactful outcomes

5. Act as the subject matter expert to provide insights and guidances to other teams 

6. Iterate quickly on new product launches, feature enhancements, and user feedback

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum Requirements 

• Experience in Product Management, go-to-market propositions, platform product design, planning and development

• 2+ years of formal people management experience

• Experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy in order to drive meaningful product growth

• Experience taking products from ideation to delivery, ideally at global scale

• Ability to manage difficult tradeoffs such as long term product vision and short term growth requirements

• Ability to thrive in data driven, cross functional teams that can move ideas to reality in very short periods of time

• Flexibility to work across multiple time zones

• Exceptional English and Chinese communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences with conviction

• Experience in any of the following is a plus: hyper growth startup environments, financial infrastructure and/or technology

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation

SGD 189K – SGD 240K • Offers Equity • Offers Bonus

Airwallex promotes fair compensation practices in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law.

These expected base pay ranges are based on information at the time this post was generated and represent the company’s good faith minimum and maximum ranges for this role at the time of posting.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and other qualifications, geographic location as noted, internal equity, and other external market factors.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation including, but not limited to, annual bonuses, commissions, RSUs, or other forms of compensation in addition to the established salary range.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and work location. US-based employees are eligible to participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits. US-based employees also receive 20 paid days of vacation and 12 paid days of company holidays in a calendar year.
