Take the lead in shaping student success as a dedicated Special Education Teacher working full-time for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers you the opportunity to guide and support Occupational Course of Study (OCS) students—learners on a specialized diploma pathway—in both middle and high school settings. You’ll work with a small group of students, including four high schoolers and six middle schoolers, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact every day.

Responsibilities include overseeing IEPs, running essential meetings, and ensuring every student’s unique needs are addressed while collaborating closely with staff and families. You’ll play a key role in preparing these students for graduation and post-secondary success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience with IEP development and implementation
• Strong organizational skills and comfort running meetings
• Background working with OCS students or specialized diploma pathways preferred
• Prepared for an ASAP start date
• Ability to provide consistent, reliable interview time blocks

Essential Duties:

• Manage caseload of both high school and middle school OCS students
• Run all IEP meetings and coordinate with support staff
• Track progress toward graduation requirements and communicate updates
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment tailored to students’ strengths
• Maintain clear documentation and support ongoing compliance
• Serve as a resource for families and colleagues seeking guidance about the EC program
