L ocation: Sherman, Texas
Start Date: August 25, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Primarily elementary students, with the majority of services at Neblett Elementary
Position Summary
Sherman ISD is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time school-based position. The caseload will focus primarily on elementary students, and the district is interviewing qualified candidates as soon as possible.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Texas SLP license or appropriate CFY eligibility
• CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered
• School-based experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services
• Conduct evaluations and assessments
• Develop and support IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
