Full Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring all production and shipping schedules are met.


This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers.
• Accurately pick, pack, check, and load products to and from designated warehouse locations.
• Move materials stored on pallets or in crates throughout the facility.
• Stack and store products in assigned storage areas according to inventory control procedures.
• Operate packing and production equipment while maintaining quality standards.
• Meet daily production, quality, and performance goals.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, and shipping documentation accurately.
• Maintain production records and report discrepancies or issues.
• Inspect equipment for defects and perform routine safety checks.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, quality issues, or production problems to management immediately.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
• Cross-train and support other warehouse functions as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, forklift, or related experience.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• RF Scanner experience.
• OSHA Forklift Certification.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting, moving, and handling of products and materials.
• Ability to use hands for material handling and equipment operation.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and moving machinery.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Exposure to warehouse equipment, machinery, and moving vehicles.
• Use of forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workplace.
• Drug-free workplace.

Language Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
