At Express Employment Professionals, we are placing a Precision Sheet Metal Laser Machinist with our client in Charlotte, NC. If you thrive on tight tolerances and clean workflows, this role puts your skill front and center.
Pay: $20/hr | Shift: 2nd, 1:00 PM–10:00 PM | Training: Must be able to train on 1st shift
What you will own- Laser Operations: Run Mitsubishi CNC laser cutting machines efficiently to produce accurate components.
- Setup & Calibration: Prepare equipment, calibrate settings, and perform routine maintenance to maintain cut quality.
- Print Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to confirm dimensions and specifications.
- Quality Verification: Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Team Throughput: Work closely with teammates to meet production timelines.
- Assembly Assist: Apply hand tools and fabrication techniques to support component assembly when needed.
- 5S & Safety: Keep the workspace organized and follow safety procedures at all times.
- Uptime Support: Help troubleshoot equipment issues and complete basic repairs to reduce downtime.
