Sr. Material Handler (8hr 1st shift, Mon-Fri)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Material Handler for first-shift warehouse operations at its Greenville, North Carolina pharmaceutical campus. The role involves receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials in a cold-chain environment while supporting supply chain logistics and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, count, store, and pick materials according to procedures and customer requirements
• Operate material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Prepare shipment documentation and maintain inventory transaction records
• Conduct cycle counting and address inventory discrepancies
• Assist with physical inventory audits and support on-the-job training for team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years warehouse, distribution, or supply chain experience
• Intermediate math skills and basic computer proficiency
• Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Forklift or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment experience preferred
