Emergency Medicine locums coverage in Michigan with a defined 12 hour shift structure and no call outside of holidays if scheduled and agreed to.

Highlights

• 7 shifts per month, 4 day minimum stretch preferred
• 12 hour shifts, 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM
• No call, holidays only if scheduled and agreed to
• Credentialing typically 30 days

Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital setting, 49 beds with 9 OB beds
• Emergency Medicine coverage with bread-and-butter cases, trauma team available
• Staffing model includes solo MD coverage with APP support 10 AM to 10 PM

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM
• Coverage need is 7 shifts per month
• 4-day minimum stretch preferred
• No call, holidays only if scheduled and agreed to

Cases and Procedures

• Procedures typical at a Level IV trauma facility
• Patient ages include all
• Mix includes bread-and-butter Emergency Medicine, trauma support available

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Emergency Medicine
• Active Michigan license and DEA, or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS required
