Position Overview

Responsibilities in the Role

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations, explaining procedures with clarity and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to furnish high-quality diagnostic images
• Expertly operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
