Long Term Sub Athletic Trainer

Brookfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Long Term Sub Athletic Trainer. The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing athletic training services and sports medicine support for the school's athletic programs. The position focuses on injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes while promoting their overall physical and mental well-being.

Responsibilities include providing athletic training coverage for practices, games, and other athletic events as assigned, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating athletic injuries and providing first aid when needed, coordinating physical examinations and medical referrals for student-athletes, developing and implementing injury prevention and rehabilitation programs, communicating with physicians, coaches, parents, and administrators regarding athlete health and recovery, maintaining accurate documentation and records of injuries and treatments, assisting coaches with injury prevention strategies, conditioning programs, and proper fitting of protective equipment, maintaining and organizing the athletic training room, including inventory and ordering of supplies, helping ensure a safe athletic environment by monitoring health and safety conditions, and performing other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Work schedule varies based on athletic practices, competitions, and events, including evenings and weekends. Beginning in August, the length of assignment is to be determined. Pay is $2800.00 biweekly, paid per payroll schedule.
