Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Southbury, CT
Pay: $38–$54/hr
Practice Setting: Short-Term Rehab | Assisted Living | LTACH | Long-Term Care

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver resident-centered therapy services across a variety of care settings. As part of an in-house therapy team, the OT will collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to improve residents’ functional independence while ensuring compliance with clinical, state, and federal standards. This role offers a collaborative work environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and oversee occupational therapy services based on established clinical practices.
• Evaluate residents and develop individualized, outcome-focused treatment plans.
• Coordinate treatment plans with therapy staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Conduct scheduled resident screenings.
• Communicate resident progress and clinical updates to supervisors.
• Participate in center initiatives, meetings, and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure proper billing documentation aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Attend in-service education and training programs as assigned.
• Travel to additional facilities on a limited basis, as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current and active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Experience in older adult rehabilitation preferred.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and accrediting guidelines preferred.
