Property Accountant (Contract-potential for hire)
Downtown Cleveland, OH | Hybrid
Growing real estate investment and asset management company is seeking a Property Accountant to support a multi-state portfolio of commercial and historic properties. This position is expected to begin as a 3-6 month contract assignment with the potential for permanent hire. Looking for experience with property accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balance review
- Cash flow analysis and property-level financial reporting
- Loan compliance reporting and ownership allocations
- Partner with asset management teams and third-party property managers
- Analyze financial data and support process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 2+ years of property accounting or real estate accounting experience
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Power BI experience a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple properties and priorities
