The Desk Estimator is responsible for preparing estimates and supplementals for reconstruction and emergency services, from 3D scans and scopes./ppWhat Youll Do/pulliProfessionally represent Paul Davis values of honesty and integrity./liliMeet all service standards required by clients, programs, and company processes./liliEstimate property losses using Xactimate or Symbility./liliSubmit accurate estimates within 24 hours of assignment./liliUse our company tools for peer review and accuracy validation./liliMeet or exceed company-required gross profit margins for each project./liliDocument and communicate change orders and insurance supplements promptly./liliWork closely with insureds and stakeholders to gain agreement and secure the job./liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with adjusters, brokers, TPAs, and carriers./liliParticipate in the on-call rotation as the first point of contact for homeowners./liliFollow all Health Safety program expectations on every job site./liliClose the Loop 100% of the time within 24 hours./liliHandle other assigned duties that support successful job outcomes./li/ulpCompetency - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/pulliWorking knowledge of RMS, Xactimate, and related estimating platforms./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills, both in person and by phone./liliStrong planning, organizational, and time-management abilities./liliExperience with virtual/remote scoping/li/ulpRequired Education and Experience/pulliExperience with Xactimate and/or Symbility required/liliBachelors Degree or equivalent experience/liliValid drivers license with a clean driving and background record/lili13 years of experience in a professional or field-based role/liliAvailability to work on-call and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays/liliCustomer Service experience/li/ulpPhysical Requirement/pulliMust be able to stay in a stationary position up to 80% of the time/liliConstantly operate a computer/li/ulpMake an impact now/ppSince 1966, Paul Davis has been serving people in their time of need when facing disaster and having their worst day.
